About The Position

The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for leading all inventory, warehouse, receiving, storage, material handling, and production material replenishment activities within the facility. This position ensures inventory accuracy, material availability, efficient warehouse operations, and continuous improvement of inventory management processes while supporting production schedules and customer commitments. The Inventory Control Manager will lead initiatives to improve inventory control, warehouse organization, material flow, and operational efficiency while maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in inventory control, warehouse management, receiving, storage, material handling, and production material replenishment.
  • Proficiency in managing inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, and reconciliation.
  • Ability to develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Skill in investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Experience monitoring inventory levels and collaborating with purchasing and production teams.
  • Ability to analyze inventory trends and recommend actions.
  • Experience leading physical inventory counts.
  • Proficiency in managing daily receiving, storage, material handling, and shipping activities.
  • Experience overseeing the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials.
  • Ability to ensure shipment accuracy and prompt distribution.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S principles for warehouse organization.
  • Experience developing and implementing improved storage methods.

  • Experience coordinating material movement between warehouse and production.

  • Proficiency in managing inventory transactions within an ERP system.
  • Experience with accurate processing of receiving documents, inventory adjustments, transfers, and material transactions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools for inventory analysis.
  • Experience developing inventory reports and presenting findings to leadership.
  • Experience leading and developing warehouse and inventory personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting, audits, and reconciliation activities.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability.

  • Ensure materials are stored safely and in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of production lines to support manufacturing schedules.
  • Coordinate material movement between warehouse and production departments.
  • Oversee kitting and pre-assembly of materials and subcomponents for production operations.
  • Support production teams by ensuring required materials are available and delivered when needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve material flow and reduce waste throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Manage inventory transactions within the company's ERP system.
