About The Position

To provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team that will enable and facilitate the execution of the outlined commercial and operational deliverables relative to the service agreement with the client. The Senior Inventory Control leader will also be responsible for developing and progressing key customer relationships and operational partnerships necessary to drive and support an atmosphere of continuous improvement and operational excellence as it relates to inventory control management. Responsible for ensuring adherence to Inventory Control KPI outlined in the commercial agreement are met. Customer Ensure customer inventory control accuracy and shrink contractual requirements / service level agreements are monitored and reported timely to site leadership. Maximize the performance of the site inventory processes and system to ensure: Care, custody, and control of customer inventory Accuracy (to floor and customer book) Proper utilization of information technology Provide required documentation to customer, customer’s financial statement auditor or appropriate regulatory auditor in support of compliance requirements Associate Ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for associates Manage site hourly and exempt associates Conduct associate performance reviews, individual development plans and succession plans Ensure company policies are communicated, administered, and enforced at appropriate levels Take an active leadership role in managing turnover to the appropriate level.

Requirements

  • Manhattan & SAP experience.
  • 3+ years logistics industry experience.
  • 3+ years management experience (unit pick environment, large company preferred).
  • 1+ years client relationship, staff mgmt & objective setting experience.
  • Staff management & Objective Setting.
  • Metric development and reporting across cross functional leadership.
  • Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to the audience.

  • 3PL experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Inventory Control team.
  • Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
  • Develop inventory control strategies that support customer requirements and contractual service levels.
  • Monitor inventory KPIs, shrink, and reporting metrics.
  • Identify inventory risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with operations, customers, and site leadership to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure accurate accounting and tracking of customer-owned inventory.
  • Conduct full facility wall to wall Physical Inventories.
