About The Position

Flex is seeking an Inventory Control Management Co-Op for its Orangeburg, South Carolina site for Spring 2027. Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, the student will assist with inventory initiatives that support production, material planning, and site reporting. This in-person co-op is intended for a student enrolled at a four-year accredited university and is scheduled for 40 hours per week during the Spring 2027 school semester.

Requirements

• Be currently enrolled in a four-year accredited university.
• Be pursuing a bachelor's degree; undergraduates are sought, preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain.
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Be available to work 40 hours per week in person during the Spring 2027 school semester.
• Be enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Have collaborative, creative, and excellent communication skills.
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Be detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn new processes and tools.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of flowcharting.
• Previous internship, co-op, and/or project experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn the basics of material and production planning, including ERP and planning workflows.
• Support process mapping and documentation for planner activities.
• Support preparation of daily and weekly production, inventory, and material reports.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects or improvement initiatives.
• Provide ad hoc support during month-end activities and planner tasks as needed.
• Contribute to gathering data for inventory analysis, trends, and dashboards.
