Requirements

  • No minimum education required
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Data entry and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiar with manufacturing or production operations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit up
  • Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel
  • Ability to climb or balance
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to talk or hear

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the facility 6S program by performing audits, recommending product placement, and slotting product into appropriate positions
  • Research misplaced and/or missing inventory and work with management in resolution activities
  • Perform Inventory cycle and inventory adjustments daily, and maintain/prepare detailed records and files using the ERP system
  • Assist in developing processes in order to allow for lean processes, continuous improvement, standard work, and problem solving, training and employee involvement
  • Audit various warehouse activities including, inbounds receipts, put-a-way case picking
  • Work with Inventory Control team to oversee the “damage cases” process for returned products; includes tracking those inbounds and working with the warehouse employees to have cases re-boxed and put back into inventory in a timely manner
  • Serves as team lead for the Receiving Department, overseeing the execution of all receiving tasks
  • Acts as stand in for receiving when required
  • Attends daily and weekly safety meetings and conducts safety stand-up meetings with the receiving team to ensure adherence to safety protocols
  • Support any Logistics projects as needed such as NPI, continuous improvement (Kaizen) events or service improvement projects
  • This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams .

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies .
