BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking an Inventory Control Forklift Driver to support the Asset Protection Supervisor in maintaining workflow and count processes. This part-time role involves operating a forklift and collaborating with the inventory control team to ensure an exceptional member shopping experience. Key duties include conducting, organizing, and validating inventory counts, sorting damaged and RTV (Return to Vendor) items, reducing salvage, obtaining return authorizations from vendors, and re-wrapping sellable merchandise. The position also requires cross-functional work with other departments to complete merchandise counts and inventory control responsibilities. Team members are expected to carry out assigned functions, support club policies, act with honesty and integrity, ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, move with speed and agility, innovate and adapt, and maintain a friendly and positive attitude. Members are to be provided with service excellence, and concerns should be resolved and deescalated. The role also involves delivering GOLD Member Standards and Club Standards, including greeting members, ensuring fast, friendly, full, fresh, and clean service, and maintaining a grand opening look daily with proper stocking, promotional plans, accurate signage, and cleanliness. Understanding departmental reporting and the impact of consistent execution on the business is also important.
