About The Position

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for cycle counting inventory of production components and analyzing the results. This analysis should lead to recommendations for process, training, and behavior improvements. The role involves daily cycle counts, coordinating with the receiving function to ensure proper material receipt, conducting inventory reconciliations, preparing production reports, and assisting with month-end inventories. The coordinator will also process Material Disposition Requests (MDRs) and follow up on obsolescence after coordinating phase-outs with Milwaukee Production Control. Maintaining the Battery Bill of Materials with current requirements and handling process changes from Milwaukee, distributing information to plant personnel, are also key responsibilities. The position requires cross-training within the department to provide backup or additional support, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a computer-oriented environment
  • Able to become immediately certified to utilize a scissor lift to perform daily duties
  • Must be self-directed in order to meet the requirements of the position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business writing skills required
  • Highly organized and deadline-driven with the ability to prioritize
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Prior inventory or material analyst experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing environment with progressing responsibilities preferred
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Daily Cycle Counts
