The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining cost-effective maintenance and monitoring programs for inventory to maximize usage and minimize expenses. This role establishes a follow-up program to monitor the effectiveness of supply systems, ensures needs are met, and coordinates appropriate inventory levels across sites. The Coordinator serves as the main contact for inventory transfers between facilities, resolves procurement issues, and reviews/recommends improvements to inventory data levels. They also act as a procurement resource, maintain product catalogs, track inventory age and overstocks, and collaborate with Corporate Purchasing on orders and vendor deliveries. Additionally, this role produces usage and cost reports, identifies standardization and cost-saving opportunities, provides analytical data, coordinates product conversions, and builds vendor relationships, including verifying and reconciling vendor credits and ensuring contract loading into computer systems.
