As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and releasing materials between intercompany branches.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • 1 Year of experience in inventory control required.
  • Meets commitments, works independently, accepts ownership of projects and outcomes, takes personal responsibility and sets objectives/standards, stays focused under pressure, meets attendance/punctuality requirements, shows a sense of urgency about getting results.
  • Is attentive to detail and accuracy, performs quality work, continuously looks for improvements, finds root cause of problems, owns/acts on problems, seeks opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ability to make decision and take action.
  • Able to proactively identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, and ensure timely completion of responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of MRP, SAP, Excel, pivot tables, v-lookups, queries, and MS Office.

  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Release stock transfer PO’s between inter-branch & satellite branches as needed to fill orders.
  • Monitor stock transfer PO’s daily to ship backorders to our inter-branch customers.
  • Identifies truck space requirements & optimize truck layout for maximum efficiency.
  • Build weekly truck pick-up schedule.
  • Coordinate warehouse materials between production and warehouse for inter-branch truck building.
  • Prioritize material needed on loads as requirements change.
  • Prioritize inventory items needed for other branches.
  • Run / Manage BI priority hot list of inventoried items needed for other branches.
  • Respond to inter-branch email requests in a timely manner.
  • Regular reliable punctual attendance is essential because of limited staffing resources.
  • Level load backordered material.
  • Run, analyze, & monitor aging backorders.
