About The Position

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and smooth flow of inventory within the distribution center. This involves performing cycle counts, maintaining the slotting profile, monitoring FIFO and expiration violations, and reporting any identified opportunities to management. The role collaborates closely with the management team to track inventory trends and pinpoint areas for improvement.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory control, or supply management
Knowledge of WMS and/or ERP systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with Perishable foods preferred

Responsibilities

Document new items into the WMS system and ensure the system is updated with any changes to existing items.
Perform cycle counts on product to ensure inventory accuracy.
Check for proper rotation (FIFO) on all items in storage.
Verify that all items are stored in the correct temperature zone.
Record all damaged or poor-quality product removed from the system.
Maintain the slotting profile.
Manage the reporting system.
