About The Position

Intercity Packers Ltd. is seeking a Full-Time Inventory Control Coordinator for their Richmond location. This role is crucial for managing inventory within the warehouse environment, ensuring accuracy, efficient stock management, and meeting customer demands. Requirements

  • Experience in a warehouse environment with inventory control experience.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to perform fundamental mathematical functions.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, email and internet software applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be able to work independently or within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and plan every activity that relates to inventory control in the organization or warehouse environment
  • Ensure all items in the warehouse are accurate, audited, received and stored.
  • Ensure inventory will meet customer demands efficiently.
  • Advise on stock inflow and outflow
  • Compile inventory information and present it to Management for effective decision making, which may include the need for restocking.
  • Provide accurate information on inventory to customers to guide them on order availability
  • Investigate inaccuracies in the inventory system and execute necessary improvements towards better business performance focusing on customer satisfaction
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Organizing the meat cooler/stocking and rotating stock
  • Transferring products to the freezer
  • Filling orders
  • Cycle counting
