About The Position

Intercity Packers Ltd. is seeking a Full-Time Inventory Control Coordinator for their Richmond location. This role is crucial for managing inventory within the warehouse environment, ensuring accuracy, efficient stock management, and meeting customer demands. Requirements

Experience in a warehouse environment with inventory control experience.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to perform fundamental mathematical functions.
Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, email and internet software applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be able to work independently or within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee and plan every activity that relates to inventory control in the organization or warehouse environment
Ensure all items in the warehouse are accurate, audited, received and stored.
Ensure inventory will meet customer demands efficiently.
Advise on stock inflow and outflow
Compile inventory information and present it to Management for effective decision making, which may include the need for restocking.
Provide accurate information on inventory to customers to guide them on order availability
Investigate inaccuracies in the inventory system and execute necessary improvements towards better business performance focusing on customer satisfaction
Performs other duties as assigned.
Organizing the meat cooler/stocking and rotating stock
Transferring products to the freezer
Filling orders
Cycle counting
