About The Position

This role is accountable for the location's tracker inventory and reconciliation of billing invoices. The Inventory Control Coordinator manages the retrieval of trackers that require further attention (RFA) and determines corrective action. They are responsible for returning defective trackers to Cox2M, ensuring the user interface and billing accurately reflect returns and new orders. This position monitors vehicle inventory volume and fluctuations to proactively anticipate spikes or changes in inventory levels and coordinates with Management and the Global Inventory Control Manager (GCM) to manage inventory levels accordingly. The role requires the ability to review and comprehend the inventory analytics dashboard and adherence to project metrics. The Inventory Control Coordinator proactively communicates status to Leadership and the GCM, identifies opportunities to enable the location to achieve or exceed lot operations goals, and proactively monitors and works with team(s) to address issues to prevent leakage and maintain a healthy tracker inventory. This position builds and sustains relationships with lot operations teams and serves as the central point of contact regarding tracker inventory. They enthusiastically promote, communicate, and champion identified change, project adoption, and continuous improvement across operating units. The Inventory Control Coordinator delivers training developed by the Lot Vision Program Team to impacted departments on processes and procedures, and enforces adoption of project standards, operating procedures, best practices, and metrics. They support the Lot Vision program by actively participating in ICC calls and focus on continuing education to support the advancement of the program. Additionally, they assist with Lot Vision deployments and support, and perform other duties as assigned by their manager or supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
  • OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Safe driver's needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Microsoft office computer skills required.
  • Ability to enter and exit vehicles constantly.
  • Ability to walk long distances.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
  • Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
  • Must clear a pre-employment drug test (marijuana testing may not be administered for this position, but it is a drug-free workplace).
