About The Position

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory levels within the warehouse. This role involves performing regular cycle counts, conducting physical inventories, managing inventory discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS). The coordinator will collaborate with various teams, including shipping, warehouse, kitting, and returns, to address inventory issues and ensure product availability for order fulfillment. Additionally, the position requires adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

2-3 years of related experience, preferably in a warehouse
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Prior experience on WMS system
Order Picking experience
Previous Inventory experience
Driven to provide excellent Customer Service with effective customer interaction skills
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners
Proven communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to prioritize work assignments
Comfortable with being directly involved in a fast-paced environment
Capable of working with minimal supervision
Must be flexible and willing to work additional hours when required
Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures
Ability to make sound decisions independently to obtain desired results
Strong interpersonal skills and a proven leadership ability within a team environment
Able to create control tools through effective Office 365 software applications knowledge primarily in Excel, Word, Outlook
Previous experience with warehouse systems
Need to follow and be in compliance with all regulatory requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule when required
Able to lift, on average, up to 50 lbs., repetitively and safely

Works on the warehouse floor, walking and standing where the noise level is moderate to loud
Exposure to temperature variations in the warehouse

Responsibilities

Perform cycle counts; identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
Conduct physical inventory per client request
Communicate with shipping, warehouse, and kitting team and returns about inventory issues
Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels on our WMS system
Report inventory accuracy status to management
Attend to email inquiries regarding stock variances, dock/location searches, and adjustment requests
Monitor replenishment tasks on our WMS system and ensure stock is available for picking an order
Execute quarantine and/or destruction of product when directed
Ensure all product receipts are tagged properly
Ensure all racking is labelled correctly
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Provide feedback to manager on the operations and employees
Maintain warehouse sanitation practices; clean, organized, and safe environment
Demonstrate respect for the Company’s values daily, maintain and uphold all policies & procedures
