About The Position

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory levels within the warehouse management system (WMS). This role involves performing regular cycle counts, conducting physical inventories, and resolving any discrepancies. The coordinator will collaborate with various internal teams, including shipping, warehouse, kitting, and returns, to address inventory-related issues. A key aspect of the role is maintaining accurate inventory data in the WMS, reporting on inventory accuracy status to management, and responding promptly to email inquiries regarding stock variances, location searches, and adjustment requests. Additionally, the coordinator will monitor replenishment tasks to ensure stock availability for order picking, execute product quarantine or destruction as directed, and ensure proper tagging of all product receipts and correct labeling of racking. The position also requires maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to warehouse sanitation practices, and upholding company values, policies, and procedures. The role may also involve providing operational feedback to management and assuming additional related responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of related experience, preferably in a warehouse
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Prior experience on WMS system
  • Driven to provide excellent Customer Service with effective customer interaction skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners
  • Proven communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments
  • Comfortable with being directly involved in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Must be flexible and willing to work additional hours when required
  • Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Ability to make sound decisions independently to obtain desired results

  • Able to create control tools through effective Office 365 software applications knowledge primarily in Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Previous experience with warehouse systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counts; identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Conduct physical inventory per client request
  • Communicate with shipping, warehouse, and kitting team and returns about inventory issues
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels on our WMS system
  • Report inventory accuracy status to management
  • Must be attentive to any email inquiries: stock variances, dock/location searches; adjustment request
  • Monitor replenishment tasks on our WMS system and ensure stock is available for picking an order
  • Execute quarantine and/or destruction of product when directed
  • Ensure all product receipts are tagged properly
  • Ensure all racking is labelled correctly
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide feedback to manager on the operations and employees
  • Maintain warehouse sanitation practices; clean, organized, and safe environment
  • Demonstrate respect for the Company’s values daily, maintain and uphold all policies & procedures
