About The Position

The Inventory Control Coordinator supports daily warehouse and inventory operations, including shipping and receiving, fulfilling field part requests, maintaining inventory levels, and assisting with nonconformance processes. This position works under the supervision of a senior inventory controller or manager and helps ensure parts, materials, and equipment are accurately received, stored, documented, and distributed. This role is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, team-focused, and willing to learn in a fast-paced shop environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 0-3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing, or a related field
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills preferred
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
  • Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop and warehouse environment
  • Ability to fulfill rotating weekend on-call responsibilities

Nice To Haves

  • Previous shop, warehouse, industrial, or oilfield experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience using inventory or work-order systems is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily shipping and receiving activities, including properly loading and unloading trucks
  • Inspect incoming shipments and verify items against shipping and receiving documentation
  • Maintain and update receiving logs according to Deep Well Services’ Quality Management System standards
  • Fulfill field part requests accurately and coordinate transportation of requested items
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify the purchaser when reorders are necessary
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as required
