About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for inventory-related functions to maintain accurate records of raw materials and finished goods, supporting the Manufacturing and Quality departments. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM. Candidate must be flexible to work weekends if requested. A 10-panel drug screening is required and must be completed within 48 hours of job offer acceptance. The candidate will receive 2 weeks of training in a climate-controlled environment.

Requirements

  • Previous work experience with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Forklift experience required - minimum 6 months
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Steel toe or composite shoes required
  • Must clear all background checks and drug screening before starting

Nice To Haves

  • Previous inventory clerk experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing material transactions (receiving, shipping, transferring, counting of raw materials and finished goods); generate ERP system reports as needed
  • Reconcile discrepancies between perpetual inventory records and actual physical counts
  • Conduct periodic cycle counts as directed by management to ensure system integrity
  • Assist in investigating anomalies found during daily activities or cycle counts
  • Coordinate destruction of obsolete, excess, or unusable materials as directed by management
  • Other duties as assigned
