About The Position

We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to provide essential support to our Warehouse and Distribution Operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and upholding the standards of our prestigious brands.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
  • Good communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of English, reading and writing.
  • Basic knowledge of arithmetic.
  • Ability to work independently in a multi-task environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clerical experience.
  • Ability to navigate in computer systems such as Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Internet, Intranet, and warehouse and distribution systems.
  • Must successfully pass written and practical tests and achieve scores equivalent to national standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to wear steel-tipped safety shoes and safety glasses.
  • Ability to work in weather extremes - hot and cold environments.
  • Must be able to pass physical examination.
  • Must be able to pass Power Material Handling Training (written and road test).
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
  • Must be available to work all shifts.
  • Must be available to work in all Northtec facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform warehouse and distribution cycle counts, and weekly empty location audits, reporting results to management.
  • Interpret and reconcile warehouse reports.
  • Investigate all inventory errors and report findings to management.
  • Collect daily warehouse activity data using various PC applications and the warehouse management system.
  • Investigate and reconcile all warehouse management system generated suspense file items.
  • Collaborate with Short Range Planning and the Distribution operation to resolve inventory issues.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual physical inventory.
  • Perform all cubing aspects of new products into the warehouse management system.
  • Verify out-of-stock items for the distribution operation.
  • Assist in processing back-to-stock items.
  • Adhere to all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP’s).
  • Perform various other duties as assigned, including assisting with training new employees.
