The Inventory Control Clerk II will coordinate the movement of materials through the production cycle of the organization's product. This includes receiving daily incoming materials, verifying packing slip vs. shipments from supplier, breaking down shipments, staging material for next operation, relabeling, transferring finishing goods to our stock location, input data into the organization's databases, and maintaining the physical and systematic inventory, to include cycle counts and inventory movement within the warehouse.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years experience in Inventory Control
  • Cargowise Medium proficiency
  • AS400 Medium proficiency
  • Warehouse Management Systems Medium proficiency
  • Xcelerator Medium proficiency
  • Forklift Certification

Nice To Haves

  • 0-3 years experience in Freight forwarding and/or 3PL

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical and clerical tasks associated with shipment and reception of supplies and finished products
  • Check, verify and audit materials and enter data into a database to ensure that correct material has been received and that material is as expected and not damaged or defective
  • Verify shipping records and correct packaging and labeling
  • Assist with receiving material from our vendors through our databases
  • Maintain product inventory accuracy
  • Unpack received materials and check for damage and accuracy of shipment
  • Complete daily cycle counts for required clients
  • Move and/or consolidate inventory to clear pallet positions for full pallet stock
  • Put backs from mis-picks
  • Move heavy materials and items throughout the warehouse using a forklift
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
