About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk supports daily inventory operations to help maintain inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse processes throughout the fulfillment center. This role is responsible for conducting inventory audits, researching discrepancies, supporting operational problem solving, and working closely with departments including Receiving, Bulk Shipping, QA, and Warehouse Operations. This role is also responsible for pallet consolidation throughout the warehouse, cubi-scanning inventory, and completing the Ghost WIP/TI Report for LFC. This role may operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts while utilizing multiple warehouse software systems to support daily operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years’ experience.
  • Willingness to start your shift as early as 4:45 am.
  • Must be proficient in English communication (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) for safety and other purposes.
  • Must be forklift certified and have the ability to drive a forklift (this can be learned).
  • Must be self-motivated and hard-working.
  • Capable of finding work to do during any slow period of time.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift to 50lbs and stand for at least 8 hours.
  • Ability to work on your own and be efficient.
  • Must be safety and quality conscious.
  • Willingness to learn new procedures and processes.
  • Must have basic computer skills including email, excel, word, etc.
  • Punctuality and time management are important.

Responsibilities

  • Complete spot audits and maintain inventory accuracy throughout the warehouse.
  • Responsible for pallet consolidation throughout the warehouse to help maximize space and improve inventory organization.
  • Perform cubi-scanning of inventory.
  • Complete and maintain the Ghost WIP/TI Report for LFC and follow up on aging or problem TI locations to ensure inventory is properly cleared from transitional inventory locations.
  • Provide samples to the Quality Assurance (QA) department as required.
  • Report and monitor MRO inventory levels.
  • Troubleshoot inventory and warehouse process issues across departments.
  • Support leadership with daily operations, projects, and inventory initiatives.
  • Maintain strong working relationships between fulfillment center departments.
  • Assist with task delegation and operational support as requested by leadership.
  • Create and maintain inventory-related reports and system transactions.
  • Serve as a backup to the Inventory Control trainer and supervisor when needed, including creating the daily Cycle Count report and attending daily metrics meetings.
  • Demonstrate mastery of inventory control and warehouse processes.
  • Cross-train in other areas of the warehouse including Receiving and Bulk Shipping.
  • Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Adhere to and support Lean and 5S principles.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and project improvement groups.
  • Support fulfillment center initiatives and promote open communication across teams.
  • Demonstrate willingness to assist in other fulfillment center departments when necessary.
  • Maintain professionalism and represent dōTERRA culture positively at all times.
  • Complete all assigned tasks from Warehouse Leadership.
  • Some mandatory overtime may be required.
  • Must pass onboarding training and maintain minimum performance expectations.
