About The Position

The Inventory Control Auditor helps maintain the accuracy and integrity of warehouse inventory. The role investigates inventory discrepancies and lost sales, manages high-value inventory, conducts cycle counts and specialized audits, and keeps inventory records and spreadsheets accurate. It also involves communicating with multiple warehouse and business teams and identifying opportunities to improve inventory handling and warehouse processes.

Requirements

Computer proficiency, particularly with Excel and AS400.
Strong attention to detail when identifying mislabeled bins and quantity discrepancies.
Ability to stand and work on concrete floors for 12 or more hours.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds when needed.
Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and carefully.

Responsibilities

Run and investigate daily Lost Sales, Negative, and Discontinued item reports to identify and correct discrepancies.
Lead daily cycle counts and specialized weekly audits for high-velocity products and stamps.
Use AS400, Excel, and email to track inventory batches and maintain accurate, current spreadsheets.
Communicate and coordinate with Receiving, Returns, Customer Service, and Management.
Identify mis-stocks and poor product rotations and troubleshoot process improvements.
