About The Position

This role involves auditing inventory to maintain system balance during daily order processing, researching and resolving discrepancies, ensuring compliance with internal control procedures, and assisting in maintaining inventory accuracy. Key tasks also include completing and reviewing cycle counts, managing time control tables, receiving products from vendors for quality checks, communicating quality issues to buyers, and maintaining quality and inventory control manuals. The position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and adherence to company safety policies. Requirements

  • Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Spanish language proficiency.
  • Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
  • Knowledge of construction and industrial products.

Responsibilities

  • Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
  • Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies.
  • Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments.
  • Completes and reviews cycle counts.
  • Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
  • Receives products from vendors to check for quality.
  • Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
  • Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
  • Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
  • Follows company safety policy and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
