About The Position

White Cap is hiring an Inventory Control Associate to support inventory accuracy and quality control for a North American distributor serving professional contractors and construction projects. The role audits inventory during daily order processing, investigates and resolves inventory issues and discrepancies, and helps ensure compliance with internal control procedures. It also involves receiving vendor products, checking quality, maintaining control documentation, and following company safety procedures. The position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. The posting notes generally 2–5 years of experience and lists Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4 PM as a preferred schedule.

RF scanner experience.

Responsibilities

Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
Research and resolve issues, adjustments, and discrepancies; ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy, follow up on previous inventory adjustments, and complete and review cycle counts.
Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key, and review allocations.
Receive products from vendors and check them for quality; communicate potential quality issues to buyers.
Maintain quality control and inventory control manuals.
Follow company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
