Requirements

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Associate degree or post-secondary education and previous inventory experience preferred.
Inventory management systems knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

Overseeing the perpetual inventory in assigned warehouses.
Maintaining a computer-based inventory management system/stock master.
Managing Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR) levels.
Managing daily cycle count activity.
Working closely with clinical leaders, physicians, and department staff to assure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for procedures.
Working with the procure-to-pay team to resolve backorder problems with items and inform end-users of delays in product availability.
Assisting in the coordination of new product trials with physicians, clinical staff, and vendor representatives.
Assisting with product conversions and standardization initiatives in assigned warehouse locations.
Reviewing requests to add items to assigned locations and informing customers of the acceptance or denial of the requests.
Overseeing product recalls in assigned warehouses and providing information on recalled items to purchasing in a timely manner.
Achieving inventory turnover rates as assigned per location and fill rates to customers of 99 percent as related to perpetual inventory (depending on location).
Assisting in end-of-fiscal-year audits by outside auditing firms and managing other year-end duties for a successful fiscal year-end inventory of assigned warehouses.
Performing other duties as assigned.
