Pay starts at $16.00 with additional credit given for work experience relative to this role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Associate degree or post-secondary education and previous inventory experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
  • Inventory management systems knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the perpetual inventory in assigned warehouses, maintaining a computer-based inventory management system/stock master, Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR) levels and managing daily cycle count activity.
  • Working closely with the clinical leaders, physicians and department staff to assure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for procedures.
  • Working with the procure-to-pay team to resolve backorder problems with items, and inform the end-users of delays in product availability.
  • Assisting in coordination of new product trials with physicians, clinical staff and vendor representatives, and with product conversions and standardization initiatives in assigned warehouse locations.
  • Reviewing requests to add items to assigned locations and informing customers of the acceptance or denial of the requests.
  • Overseeing product recalls in assigned warehouses and providing information on recalled items to purchasing in a timely manner.
  • Achieving inventory turnover rates as assigned per location and fill rates to customers of 99 percent as related to perpetual inventory (depending on location).
  • Assisting in end-of-fiscal-year audits by outside auditing from and managing other year-end duties for a successful fiscal year-end inventory of assigned warehouses.
  • Other duties as assigned.
