About The Position

At ALSAC, you do more than make a living; you make a difference. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Clerk to join our team. This dual-role position is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and providing excellent customer service in our store. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and have a strong commitment to our mission. ALSAC exists to raise funds and awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Our staff is dynamic and diverse. Our skills are different, our professions are varied; but our mission is the same: support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in inventory management preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with inventory management software and point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels.
• Plan weekly replenishment orders based on stock level, sales trends and upcoming promotions.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory.
• Organize and label inventory items for easy access and tracking.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases.
• Process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Help with merchandising and stocking shelves.
