About The Position

Ryder is hiring an Inventory Clerk in Etna, Ohio. The position supports warehouse inventory and fulfillment operations in a clean, organized facility, with an emphasis on safety and inventory accuracy. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some overtime. Pay is $18.00 per hour, paid weekly. Ryder provides paid training and support for career development. Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits start after 30 days; paid time off begins accruing in the first month, with up to 80 hours accrued in the first year. The role also includes a 401(k) company match, an employee stock discount, other employee discounts, and provided safety gear.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• One or more years of experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• One or more years of experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, preferred.
• Equipment certification may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
