About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking an Inventory Clerk to compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of full goods and raw materials stocked in the establishment. This role involves utilizing office Personal Computers to compute raw materials received and used, process credits, print variance journals, and transmit required reports. The Inventory Clerk will compare inventories to office records, verify computations against physical counts, and investigate discrepancies. This position also involves compiling information on receipts and disbursements, calculating inventory balances, prices, and costs, and preparing various reports. Additionally, the role includes identifying depleted items, breakage, pilferage, and unusable items, cross-training for administrative tasks, and completing food safety and GMP training.

Requirements

  • Ability to compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of full goods and raw materials.
  • Proficiency in using office Personal Computers for data computation and reporting.
  • Skill in comparing inventories to office records and investigating discrepancies.
  • Ability to verify clerical computations against physical counts.
  • Experience in compiling information on receipt or disbursement of goods.
  • Ability to calculate inventory balance, price, and cost.
  • Skill in preparing inventory-related reports.
  • Ability to identify and report on depleted items, breakage, pilferage, and unusable items.
  • Willingness to cross-train for other office administrative tasks.
  • Completion of required food safety and GMP training.

Responsibilities

  • Counts full goods and raw materials in stock and posts totals to inventory records.
  • Utilizes office Personal Computer to compute raw materials received and used, credits, print variance journals for all products and transmit required reports to host computer.
  • Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as orders and purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.
  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
  • Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of full goods and raw materials and computes inventory balance, price, and cost.
  • Prepares reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
  • Prepares list of depleted items and identifies breakage, pilferage and defective or unusable items.
  • Cross trains (gives and receives) to provide effective backup for other office administrative tasks.
  • Completes all required food safety and GMP Training and demonstrates compliance on a continual basis.
