About The Position

At CJ Logistics, we seek a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Clerk to join our team and keep our inventory running like clockwork! This role involves organizing, monitoring, and maintaining accurate inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, tracking product movement, investigating discrepancies, managing inventory status, and operating a Stand-Up Forklift. The Inventory Clerk will also collaborate with customers, receiving, and sales teams to resolve inventory discrepancies.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift.
Ability to spot a missing item from a mile away and have the patience to handle even the most minor discrepancies.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve work-related issues effectively.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with AS400 and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

Organize, monitor, and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations.
Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations for aisle, inbound, and outbound inventory.
Track and update product movement, identifying and correcting inventory discrepancies.
Investigate recurring inventory issues and determine the root cause.
Properly manage inventory at varying status levels (e.g., on-hand, on-order, damaged) and ensure proper handling for each.
Operate a Stand-Up Forklift to assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and other warehouse tasks.
Work alongside customers, receiving, and sales teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
