The Inventory Clerk is responsible for accurate inventory data entry, maintaining product data, and managing bills of materials. This role ensures the timely receipt of incoming and outgoing products, internal transfers, and rework, as well as the accuracy of warehouse operational paperwork. The position involves reconciling inventory discrepancies, performing various types of cycle counts, and maintaining organized files. Additionally, the Inventory Clerk will create records for new items and customers, develop training and SOP documentation, and manage electronic customer communications. This role also involves tracking and monitoring specific product statuses (unlabeled, embargoed, CQV), providing direction to the warehouse supervisor, and collaborating with managers from Transportation, Customer Service, and Warehouse departments to ensure a seamless flow of inventory. The Inventory Clerk will also bill for warehouse and transportation activities, assist dispatch and transportation teams, and manage appointment scheduling. Customer service duties include answering inquiries via email or phone. Punctuality and regular attendance are mandatory, along with other duties as assigned by management.
