About The Position

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, completing work orders, and accurately maintaining inventory records. This role also involves investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, preparing monthly reports, and ensuring a safe working environment. The position requires the ability to work in various conditions, including extreme temperatures, and operate material handling equipment.

High School Diploma.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an Inventory Control capacity.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of warehousing, receiving, and distribution.
Knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) documentation and management.

Responsibilities

Perform cycle counts as directed to maintain inventory accuracy.
Complete work orders as assigned.
Accurately maintain inventory records and files.
Prepare, maintain, and publish monthly records of cycle counts.
Assist in determining reasons for inaccuracies and recommend methods to prevent future inventory discrepancies.
Complete all cycle count tasks generated by the warehouse management system.
Cycle count various assigned aisles daily, ensuring all locations are counted at the end of each quarter.
Investigate and determine inventory discrepancies through various systems and report findings to management.
Reconcile and adjust inventory discrepancies in WMS.
Address shortage issues and provide solutions regarding customer orders.
Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, and scissor lifts.
Maintain a clean warehouse and uphold AIB standards.
