About The Position

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for monitoring, ordering, stocking, and transporting supplies and/or equipment for the organization. This role ensures timely delivery of stock/inventory, maintains storeroom inventory levels, and manages the timely removal of expired products. The Inventory Clerk will also investigate and troubleshoot inventory issues, maintain accurate tracking records, and minimize stock expiration by adhering to stock rotation guidelines. Additionally, this position requires regular engagement with customers to ensure good service, maintaining a professional presence to effectively interact with clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, order, stock, and transport supplies and/or equipment for the organization.
  • Ensure timely delivery of stock/inventory as needed.
  • Maintain storeroom inventory levels and timely removal of expired products.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot inventory issues/problems.
  • Maintain accurate tracking records for inventory.
  • Ensure stock expiration is minimized with adherence to stock rotation guidelines and best practices.
  • Engage customers on a regular basis to ensure good service.
  • Effectively interact with clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors.
