Inventory Clerk – Dawson, GA
About The Position
ADM is seeking an Inventory Clerk for a full-time, hourly position in Dawson, GA. The role involves maintenance parts purchasing, receiving, bar coding, warehousing, and Work Order Entry, requiring approximately 50% of the time to be spent on computer work related to these tasks. The Inventory Clerk will also track item usage from the store room, monitor replacement purchasing, maintain parts store rooms in an orderly fashion, and assist maintenance personnel in locating parts. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Requirements
- Ability to work safely on multiple tasks during any work day in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary
- Good organizational skills
- Able and willing to learn new responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven computer skills
- Good attendance history
- Excellent safety record and awareness
- Steel toe boots are required on site.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Maximo or other Maintenance /purchasing /receiving computer program work experience
- 2 plus years previous experience in parts warehousing and tracking
Responsibilities
- Maintenance parts purchasing / receiving / bar coding / warehousing / Work Order Entry
- Computer work for purchasing / receiving / bar coding / Work Order Entry (approximately 50% of time)
- Track item use from the store room and monitor replacement purchasing
- Maintain Parts Store rooms in an orderly fashion / placing incoming parts in the proper places
- Assist maintenance personnel locating parts as needed
- Any other jobs directed by supervisor
