About The Position

This is a full-time position responsible for managing shipments received in the facility, ensuring Owens Inventory is stocked on shelves daily, and managing outgoing shipments. The role also involves maintaining the Hazard Materiel Log, assigned inventory shelves, checking expiration dates, and controlling costs to ensure hospital financial stability. The position requires upholding and promoting patient safety and quality, and demonstrating team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in inventory preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read, write and understand instructions.
  • Some arithmetical ability required to process and count supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage shipments received in facility (check-in, receiving, delivering with signatures).
  • Responsible for ensuring Owens Inventory is stocked on shelves daily.
  • Manage out going shipments.
  • Maintain Hazard Materiel Log.
  • Maintain assigned inventory shelves, restock, check expiration dates, dust area and sweep.
  • Aids Clerks with order filling and floor delivery as required.
  • Controls costs to ensure hospital financial stability.
  • Demonstrates and encourages team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
  • Upholds and promotes patient safety and quality.
