About The Position

The Inventory Associate is responsible for vehicle clean-up and general labor throughout the facility. The role prepares vehicles for inventory according to company guidelines and maintains standards for vehicle accuracy and cleanliness. The associate also performs general facility tasks, which may include facility clean-up, minor repairs, and other assigned duties. With a thorough understanding of Copart’s practices, the associate helps provide excellent service to Copart customers.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate handheld devices.
• Driver’s license.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders daily.
• Assist members with jump-starting cars.
• Escort customers.
• Drive vehicles in and out of the facility.
• Clean, vacuum, and wash vehicles according to criteria.
• Shrink-wrap vehicles for storage.
• Secure personal documents according to criteria.
• Maintain a clean yard and respond to spills.
• Keep the building and shop neat and organized.
• Maintain a safe working environment according to criteria.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
