About The Position
The Inventory Associate maintains accurate inventory records and ensures product availability through regular stock checks, forecasting, and coordination with buyers and sales teams. The role supports warehouse operations by managing inventory systems and fulfilling transfer requests, contributing to efficient supply chain operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- 0–6 months of prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics is beneficial.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with AS400 and SAP systems.
Responsibilities
- Count product and locate missing inventory.
- Forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
- Proof slots and fulfill buyer transfer requests.
- Perform regular stock checks and escalate issues.
- Operate a reach truck or pallet jack as needed.
- Communicate via email with buyers and Salesforce.
- Run reports as needed.
- Use and learn inventory systems such as AS400 and SAP.
- Understand product dating and rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
