About The Position
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inventory Associate to support the daily operations of its stockroom and materials management functions. This position plays a vital role in ensuring faculty, staff, researchers, and students have timely access to the supplies, equipment, and resources necessary to support teaching, research, and laboratory activities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- 24 months experience in inventory control and/or material management, procurement or closely related experience.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a laboratory, scientific, academic, or higher education environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and purchasing procedures.
- Experience handling laboratory supplies, chemicals, or hazardous materials.
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
