Inventory Associate
About The Position
The Inventory Associate conducts physical stock counts and audit reporting for major retail and convenience partners across the Tampa region. The role involves counting and scanning merchandise on sales floors, in backroom storage, and in cooler spaces, and traveling with a regional team to scheduled retail sites. Associates collaborate with store managers to confirm counts before completing each daily audit. Paid hands-on training is provided starting on Day 1. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role with a 6:00 AM start and weekends off. The position is based in Tampa, Florida, serving ZIP code 33615 and surrounding regional areas. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, paid biweekly. Route travel time and mileage between client sites are paid.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, active personal auto insurance, and a dependable personal vehicle.
- Ability to start on-site at 6:00 AM daily.
- Ability to pass standard background and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reviews.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Ability to work on your feet for the full shift.
Responsibilities
- Accurately count retail merchandise on sales floors, in backroom storage, and in cooler spaces using 10-key handheld scanners.
- Travel daily with the regional team to scheduled retail sites across the local territory.
- Work with store managers to confirm accurate counts before completing each daily audit.
- Move, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds in retail environments.
