We are seeking an experienced Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor to lead inventory control and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient material storage and movement, and supporting uninterrupted production operations. The Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor will lead warehouse and inventory personnel and work closely with Materials, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure efficient material flow throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment; EMS experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, physical inventories, reconciliation, FIFO, lot traceability, and material flow.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse and inventory activities, including material storage, picking, staging, kitting, replenishment, and transfers.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, reconciliation, and transaction verification.
  • Oversee inventory discrepancy investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper material identification, storage, handling, lot traceability, and FIFO practices.
  • Coordinate material movement to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor inventory levels, turns, excess and obsolete materials, and warehouse capacity.
  • Ensure accurate ERP/MRP transactions for inventory movements, transfers, adjustments, and production issues.
  • Lead annual physical inventories and cycle count programs.
  • Maintain organized warehouse layouts that promote efficiency, safety, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Planning, and Shipping & Receiving to resolve shortages and material availability issues.
  • Analyze inventory metrics and implement process improvements.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse and inventory team members.
  • Support company safety, quality, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support customer, supplier, and internal audits as needed.
