About The Position

The Inventory and Media Specialist is responsible for ensuring all vehicles are photographed and merchandised on the company website and third-party listing sites in a timely manner. This role also involves auditing vehicle descriptions, maintaining on-vehicle merchandising inventory, and managing other supplies related to on-lot vehicle marketing. The specialist will operate and maintain all equipment safely, ensure optimal on-lot inventory presentation and vehicle health, and manage a schedule for vehicle starts, battery health, tire pressures, and fuel levels. Additionally, they will audit on-lot vehicles for presentation issues and perform other duties as assigned by management, such as errands and transportation.

Requirements

  • Applicants must provide a clean Motor Vehicle Record report.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening.
  • Must be eligible for our policy coverage.
  • Must be able to lift 40+ lbs.
  • Able to confidently drive, move and park a range of vehicle types in limited space.
  • Computer and technology literacy with excellent communication skills.
  • Have a strong work ethic, verified through references.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all vehicle photos and on-vehicle merchandising in a timely fashion.
  • Assist, as directed, in any vehicle descriptions or auditing for vehicle feeds to be uploaded to the company website or various 3rd party listing websites.
  • Audit on-vehicle merchandising inventory monthly.
  • Maintain and request all other supplies involved in on-lot vehicle marketing.
  • Store, maintain and operate all equipment safely (any dealership camera/equipment usage requires all straps/lanyards, harnesses, and security mounts to always be used).
  • As directed, maintain our on-lot inventory presentation and vehicle health.
  • Arrange vehicles for maximum on-lot presentation and marketing.
  • Manage a schedule of vehicle starts, battery health, tire pressures, fuel levels.
  • Audit on-lot vehicles for any issues that would hinder optimal presentation.
  • Perform any other duties as required by management, including but not limited to errands, transportation, events, campaigns, etc.
