About The Position

This role is responsible for managing inventory and logistics operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes. The specialist will handle documentation, material preparation, shipping, and receiving, while also contributing to process improvements and maintaining safety standards.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of work experience in inventory control.
  • Experience documenting all paperwork in Asset Management Portal (ServiceNOW).
  • Working knowledge of server / PC components, function, and fragility.
  • Inventory and Logistics Experience.
  • Familiarity with the documentation requirements for inbound/outbound shipments.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Excel and Word is a plus.
  • PCB (Printed Circuit Board) handling and storage experience.
  • College degree and certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and attach necessary documentation (packing lists, bill of ladings, labels) for shipments.
  • Match paperwork with material to confirm receiving is correct.
  • Sort materials according to size, type, or stock code and label as required.
  • Identify damaged, loss or extra goods received in warehouse.
  • Stack materials on racks, shelving, or pallets.
  • Prepare materials for shipping by picking, packing, palletizing, stretch wrapping.
  • Work closely with field technicians and communicate shipping activities.
  • Support in creating and managing Materials Management database for all inventory, in and outbound hardware.
  • Arrange for freight carrier pickups and delivery schedules.
  • Learn and follow all safety requirements.
  • Perform facilities cleaning requirements.
  • Assist in the physical and transactional inventory movements within the facility.
  • Make recommendations for better, safer, faster processes to improve productivity and inventory accuracy.
  • Participate in other project duties assigned as necessary.
  • Track inventory and availability of products, ensuring order fulfillment and recording and providing documentation for each shipment.
