About The Position

Podean is a leading marketplace agency helping brands accelerate growth across Amazon, Walmart, Target, TikTok Shop, and other digital commerce platforms. We combine strategic expertise, data-driven insights, and creative innovation to deliver measurable business outcomes for our clients. We are seeking an Inventory Analyst to play a key role in strategic planning and execution across a client’s digital channels, including ecommerce, marketplaces, and digital marketing/affiliates. You will be responsible for ensuring clients have an adequate supply of product to optimize their sales within the retail channels in which they are selling. This role includes extensive inventory planning, WIP/stock planning, inventory optimization, and the use of Excel and retailer portals. Reporting to the Client Lead or directly to the Client, they will work closely with internal stakeholders, e-tail partners, and external agencies to execute on this strategy. The ideal candidate will use data-driven decision-making to plan, execute, analyze, and optimize programs that drive sales based on the optimal level of inventory.

Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in the E-commerce space, with inventory management a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • An analytical and innovative mindset to make sense of metrics and data
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks
  • Excellent oral and written communication

Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor inventory levels at Amazon fulfillment centers for owned accounts
  • Maintain Amazon KPI’s to achieve productive inventory levels
  • Monitor in-stock and on-order levels, proactively reporting all opportunities to internal teams to ensure there is enough inventory to meet sales goals
  • Forecast and plan future production needs based on inventory sell-through
  • Pull, prepare, and submit replenishment orders for Amazon fulfillment centers, as business necessitates
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Partner with Brand Managers to identify new product/marketplace opportunities
  • Plan for and execute liquidation strategies to move slow-moving inventory
  • Communicate results and progress internally and to clients
