About The Position
Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to establish and maintain supply PAR levels and conduct stock analysis for warehouse and vendor-direct purchases. The role performs physical inventory, analyzes daily usage against inventory levels, and balances quantities with departmental needs. It also monitors the cleanliness and sterility of the environment and coordinates daily supply maintenance and availability. Some departments may require equipment cleaning.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain supply PAR levels.
- Conduct stock analysis for warehouse and vendor-direct purchases.
- Perform physical inventory.
- Analyze daily usage against inventory levels and balance quantities with departmental needs.
- Monitor environmental cleanliness and sterility.
- Coordinate daily operations for supply maintenance and availability.
- Clean equipment when required by the department.
