About The Position

Valeo is a global tech company focused on reinventing mobility through innovative solutions for greener and safer transportation. As an Inventory Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and improving inventory accuracy. This involves overseeing periodic and cycle counting, analyzing inventory discrepancies, and participating in the execution of internal periodic inventories. You will also be responsible for providing data for inventory accuracy indicators, measuring accuracy, and proposing action plans to reduce discrepancies. Furthermore, you will define and execute corrective actions, collaborate with other departments to find solutions, and ensure the implementation of these actions within the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of education
Minimum of 2 years experience in Supply Chain or production
Excellent analytical, communication, and time management skills
Strong computer skills
Must be able to provide guidance to production personnel and customer service

Responsibilities

Manage the inventory Periodic & Cycle Counting
Manage the Inventory Cycle Counting
Analyze inventory gaps
Participate actively in the preparation and the execution of the internal periodic inventory
Participate in the definition of the counting procedures with the Financial department
Provide data for inventory accuracy indicators and discrepancies’ analysis
Provide all necessary data for inventory accuracy indicators and discrepancies analysis
Measure the inventory accuracy
Propose action plans to reduce inventory discrepancies
Follow up and report daily relevant indicators (negatives stock, non processed transactions)
Define and execute corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy
Actively participate in and support the action plans to improve inventory accuracy
Ensure regular contact with other departments outside the work group, participate in cross functional teams to find solutions improving inventory accuracy
Ensure the implementation and the respect of those actions within the organization
