About The Position

The Inventory Analyst- EWM is responsible for analyzing, improving and maintaining optimal inventory health to support efficient operations and evolving business needs. This role requires strong analytics capabilities, clear communication, cross functional collaboration, sound judgement, and well-structured inventory planning. The Inventory Analyst for EWM drives accuracy, prevents shortages, identifies risks and supports continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Must be a SAP-EWM subject matter expert.
  • Minimum 4 years prior warehouse experience and/or exhibits knowledge of warehousing activities.
  • Ability to investigate and navigate system data in determining root cause analysis and reconciliation.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in completing work assignments, while complying with verbal and written instructions.
  • Able to build and maintain productive relationships with peers and cross functional teams, multi-task, and drive actions to completion under deadlines.
  • Knowledge of GMP’s.
  • Previous work experience in a medical manufacturing environment.
  • Prior computer experience (including MS Office products and ERP systems).
  • SAP/S4, SAP-EWM and Agile REQUIRED.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as oral presentation skills with appropriate context.
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze recurring discrepancy patterns and implement proactive corrective actions.
  • Perform in-depth root cause analysis for complex exceptions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve material master related discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory data to report trends, risks and opportunities from improvement.
  • Identify overstated quantities in the system that may impact production and prevent material shortages.
  • Monitor inventory levels to support operational reliability.
  • Identify and resolve expired or at-risk inventory.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory issues related to stock transfer orders across internal plants.
  • Act as a liaison between Inventory Control and broader operation groups.
  • Support inventory impact of New Product Introduction life cycle projects.
  • Prepare and present inventory reports, KPIs and insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Use data to influence decision-making and optimize inventory strategies.
  • Provide mentorship by sharing inventory knowledge and analytical insights with team members.
  • Maintain Kanban systems that align with operational replenishment strategies.
  • Participating in UAT sign-off for system or process changes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement in Inventory Accuracy and processes.
  • Support operational readiness efforts, analytics projects and ongoing process enhancements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
