About The Position

Accurate inventory is essential to the effective operation of the Watkins Wellness warehouse. Inventory data supports how materials are received, stored, issued, and reported, and it helps warehouse and operations teams plan work and respond to business needs. This role supports that accuracy at the warehouse level. As an Inventory Analyst, you will focus on identifying the causes of inventory variances and helping improve accuracy across warehouse and manufacturing processes. Through data analysis, audits, and system review, your work supports consistent execution and reliable inventory information. Working under the direction of the Warehouse & Distribution Manager, you’ll partner with Engineering, Quality, Production, NPI, and Document Control to help keep bills of material, system transactions, and revision changes accurate and aligned. In doing so, you support dependable warehouse operations that help Watkins Wellness serve its dealers and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 3–5 years of experience in a similar role; manufacturing experience preferred but not required
  • Strong Excel and data management skills; Power BI experience preferred.
  • Experience with industry‑standard ERP systems; ERP implementation and SAP experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills related to inventory and transactional accuracy.
  • Advanced product and commodity knowledge, including stockroom procedures, policies, and guidelines.
  • Ability to perform intermediate mathematical and statistical calculations, including use of weight‑counting scales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels; bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work independently within timelines and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify root causes of inventory inaccuracies using statistical process control techniques and develop procedures to prevent future variances across manufacturing locations.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance value‑add Jet Reports while partnering with Integrated Supply Chain leadership on reporting needs.
  • Ensure all technical documents, change orders, and revision updates are accurately communicated and reflected in the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality Control, NPI, and Document Control to consistently review bills of material and maintain accuracy.
  • Help develop and improve stockroom processes related to receiving, issuing, and handling parts and assemblies.
  • Perform periodic audits of manual and system operations, including WIP, stockroom, MRB, finished goods, receiving, and manual transactions.
  • Monitor bin activity excluded from standard cycle counts or variance counts to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inventory inquiries from other departments.
  • Work with production teams to ensure cut‑down and scrap reporting is completed accurately and on time.
