About The Position
Van Horn Ford of Sheboygan is seeking a passionate individual with the drive to excel as an Inventory Acquisition Specialist. This role is responsible for purchasing inventory for resale through non-auction avenues. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license required
- Good people skills and a master communicator both verbal and nonverbally
- Detail orientated and self-motivated
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Contact service customers the day prior to customers appointment via call/text/email
- Appraise vehicles in both the quick lube and back shop utilizing appraisal software
- Work with Service Advisors to account for known issues/reconditioning needed
- Provide customer with value of their vehicle
- If customer is interested in trading vehicle, coordinate customer with the Sales Manager
- Follow up with previous day’s appraisals
- Facilitate Purchase Paperwork
- Stock in units purchased into Vauto and submit paperwork to corporate office
- Explore other avenues to purchase inventory (i.e. Facebook, Craigslist, etc.)
