About The Position

The Inventory Accuracy Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of inventory at Edison Mall. This position involves a combination of customer service, inventory management, and stockroom operations. The associate will support various inventory processes, including cycle counts, RFID activities, and merchandise organization, while also ensuring a positive customer experience and contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the store.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in finding products and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Demonstrate company WORTH behaviors and partner with leadership and team members for support.
  • Listen to customer issues calmly and agreeably to resolve problems.
  • Execute cycle counts and Stock Ledger updates.
  • Support the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) process, including shoe on display activities, to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Organize merchandise, recycle materials, and prepare non-for-retail items for returns.
  • Participate in the annual physical inventory process, including preparation, auditing, and error correction.
  • Perform all Merchandise Transfer Out (MTO), Return to Vendor (RTV), and Return to Warehouse activities.
  • Aid in the defective MTO (DMTO) process and execute DMTOs in a timely manner to ensure inventory integrity, a safe work environment, and prevent shrinkage.
  • Partner with omnichannel Supervisor and associates to complete DMTO activities accurately.
  • Oversee dedicated delivery shipments, including third parties, FedEx, and UPS, ensuring timely and accurate check-in.
  • Report any shipment discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Complete price changes accurately and on time to maximize sales.
  • Consistently meet established performance standards, including shrink and safety initiatives, Omnichannel, scheduling efficiency, associate relations, engagement, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.
