Kids Help Phone (KHP) is seeking an Inuit Engagement Coordinator (IEC) to work closely with Indigenous communities, with a focus on Inuit communities, organizations, and partners, to advance Finding Hope: Kids Help Phone’s Action Plan for Supporting First Nations, Inuit and Métis Young People. The IEC will aim to increase access to and awareness of Kids Help Phone services and other resources among Indigenous youth and communities. This role will support volunteers in the Weaving Threads: An Indigenous Engagement Program, coordinate sessions of Brighter Days: An Indigenous Wellness Program, and assist in other KHP Indigenous programs and initiatives. The IEC will also contribute to broader Indigenous initiatives through volunteer recruitment, donor support, event and meeting coordination, and Indigenous advocacy efforts. The position requires courage, collaboration, innovation, resilience, and trust. The IEC will work directly with Indigenous youth and add an Inuk perspective to Kids Help Phone programs and services. Inuit applicants are preferred, and only First Nations, Inuit, or Métis candidates will be considered.
