The Engagement Coordinator (EC) is a temporary, full-time seasonal position that supports United Way of King County's Workplace & Philanthropic Giving and Volunteer Engagement teams during the annual campaign season. Engagement Coordinators serve as ambassadors of United Way's mission by helping corporate partners create meaningful opportunities for employees to give, volunteer, and engage with the community. Working closely with members of the Institutional Philanthropy Team, ECs coordinate workplace campaigns, facilitate volunteer experiences, support donor engagement activities, and ensure partners receive exceptional customer service throughout the campaign season. This highly collaborative role combines relationship management, event coordination, project management, and community engagement. Successful candidates are organized, adaptable, customer-focused, and energized by working with people while representing United Way in the community. Throughout the season, Engagement Coordinators will regularly travel throughout King County to support workplace campaign kickoffs, volunteer projects, kit builds, donor engagement events, and other community initiatives. Engagement Coordinators will also utilize Mission CRM to document partner interactions, maintain account records, and monitor engagement activity. This is a seasonal full-time position from August 31, 2026 – December 14, 2026 with compensation of $26.00 per hour.
