About The Position

Jefferson Community College, located in Watertown, New York, is seeking part-time adjunct faculty for its Social Science Department to teach Introduction to Psychology, Child & Adolescent Development, and Lifespan Development. The college is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system and serves students in various credit courses and professional development workshops. Instructors are primarily needed for daytime classroom sections, with occasional needs for evening or online courses, both on the main campus and at Fort Drum.

Requirements

Master's degree in Psychology preferred.
Bachelor's degree with at least three graduate-level courses in Psychology will be considered.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Ability to foster inclusion and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
