About The Position

Gain the knowledge necessary to effectively understand the functions of business and management. Learn what constitutes the manager's role and how planning, organizing, leading, and controlling are used to oversee the organization's human, financial, material, and commercial resources. Develop critical business skills including communication and teamwork skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Requirements

  • Must have an MBA or Master's degree (PhD preferred) in the area of management.
  • Must demonstrate substantial recent professional experience in a large organization.
  • Competence in second language: Passive
  • Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD preferred in the area of management.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Introduction to Business course (ADM1100A)
  • Oversee the organization's human, financial, material, and commercial resources.
  • Develop critical business skills including communication and teamwork skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
